Look Beyond The Pain

Look beyond the words I write They hold meaning for the pain I feel inside There is a hole in my mind And through it seeps these feelings I once left behind Open the door into my world The key to the threshold Of my hearts home The soul which is my own My beings refuge in my body Block out the noise outside Get into the words I write My heart bleeds every time my pen takes flight Its destination- the paper by my side Its goal- the deepest part of your soul I voice them out Not for me But to clear about me the world’s doubt I am an angel in my own eyes Along with who the devil resides Its me, just me As I stand here before you On my own two feet Look beyond the words I write and you will see.
